Action India has WON the Ashoka Changemakers’s collaborative competition, sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation!! This award recognizes our Women, Law and Social Change Program, which aims to bring an end to violence against women. As the only organization from India chosen as a finalist, we are especially proud of our achievement. None of this would have been possible without the women of the Mahila Panchayats and the organizations with which we partner to make the Mahila Panchayat network a success.
