
Kalyani has extensive grassroots experience and has been working as an independent trainer and module developer since 1999. She has been addressing issues related to adolescents like health and hygiene, sexual and reproductive health, substance abuse, nutrition and child abuse. She has produced many modules on Life Skills training for organizations like the UNFPA, Room to Read, IGNOU, SPYM, Salaam Baalak Trust and many more. She has developed various documents for donor agencies too. Her professional biographical essay is part of a book titled ‘MANAN’, edited by Late Professor Dr.(Mrs) Ratna Verma of DSSW. She is also an empanelled trainer with the NISD under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, on Life Skills and Participatory Training Methodology. As a trainer, she employs creative, engaging, straightforward, and basic exercises to strengthen community-based social work practice. Her current work is preparing adolescents and local women for leadership roles to lead a healthy life and ensure that their homes are violence free.

Gyanwati has been working in the field of healthcare since 1980 and has considerable knowledge of the human body, self-care, and health. As a paralegal, she has been working on PWDVA, 2005, in the neighbourhood since 1993. She devotes a lot of her time to advancing women and child rights, with a focus on domestic violence and intimate partner violence. As a senior grassroots worker, she conducts training sessions to bring out the best leaders in the Mahila Panchayat. She helps women to file cases before the court. She also supports DLSA lawyers in better implementing PWDVA, 2005.

Saroj is an organisational leader with over three decades of experience across the Programmes, Administration, Operations and Finance domains. She has successfully led various on-site and off-site teams spread across locations in Delhi NCR and a couple of other states. She is a multi- skilled manager whose cross-domain expertise spans from project management and operations to talent acquisition and human resource management. Saroj plays a key role in strategic policy development for the organization and ensuring that administrative services are present across the year in all projects. She is the head in-charge for execution of all office policies and procedures. She is Chief Administrative Officer as well as the Project Coordinator of the Mahila Panchayat Programme of Action India.

Accountant and financial expert Pritam Kumar has more than 25 years of professional experience. He has three years of professional training from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is a commerce graduate with a specialisation in accounts. He currently works as a finance manager for the German based organisation Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom's regional office in Southeast Asia. He is in charge of accounting, budgeting, controlling, and monitoring for regional projects, projects addressing climate change, and an EU-funded initiative to promote India-Pakistan dialogue.

Maharani has been a part of Action India since 1985. She is an expert health worker with an extensive knowledge on body knowledge, self-care and health and the functioning and creation of Self-Help Groups. Her core working areas are engaging with women and children, conducting training sessions and advocacy on environment and health issues. She has worked with Swachh Delhi Swasth Delhi (Clean and healthy Delhi) Project supported by Water Aid as Trainer and Area Coordinator. This project was on WASH issues. She has developed WATSAN(Water and Sanitation) leaders in the area and leveraged the fund from Government agencies and elected representatives. She has provided support to Project Coordinator for developing the module “Mai se Hum Tak” for Leadership development among the women.

Rampyari has over 25 years of experience working with Action India's Mahila Panchayat programme as a paralegal. In the Mahila Panchayat-community conflict resolution programme, she has also served as Unit Leader. She is in charge of planning social issue training sessions and workshops for the community and panchayat members.

In 2014, Sangeeta joined Action India. She has been serving as the Mahila Panchayat-community dispute resolution program's Hub Coordinator. She is in charge of planning training and seminars on gender and women's problems for the community and panchayat members. She has an excellent understanding of women centric laws. Additionally, she oversees the operations of Mahila Panchayats and engages in advocacy work with the government and other stakeholders.

Sulekha began working with Action India in 2010. She has been the Beti Zindabad Campaign's Campaign Coordinator. She supports the growth of community support groups, the development of women's leadership, and the promotion of gender equality and women's rights. planning, laying out, and analysing the survey on socio economic concerns. She is exceptionally skilled at crafting promotional strategies for campaigns. She offers training on gender, women's issues, and the PCPNDT Act using her expertise. She is also excellent at networking and advocating for causes with local government officials and other local organisations.

Shalini strives to improve grassroots feminist leadership. Her current position also entails leading the implementation of the "Meri Panchayat Meri Shakti", a grassroots feminist leadership programme in the states of Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar with 12 partner organisations. She has been working with 30 grassroots organisations for capacity building and conceptualising, designing, and managing all annual Hindi training programmes and institutes, including the Sexuality and Gender Rights Institute, the Feminist Leadership Institute, and Basic Training on Gender and Sexuality. She also participates in training with other organisations on issues related to gender, sexuality, and reproductive health and rights. For activists and trainers in Hindi, she has created training materials on gender, sexuality, VAW, and patriarchy. She is a trained counsellor, with a background in social science and law. Shalini is part of several Internal complaint committees on Sexual harassment and conducts trainings with ICC members and organizations on Anti Sexual Harassment Act, 2013. Her previous professional experience includes counselling, working on legal cases, and training on laws, gender, and human rights. She enjoys writing in Hindi.
